I come with my wife here every time we come to Chicago! It’s one of the most enjoyable atmosphere ever and they have one of the best food ever I really love this place and recommended to everybody! Their steak is amazing!
I ordered through a delivery food service, the food was packaged so well there was no spills and it was still warm when it arrived to me and I'm in the city. I tried the blackened chicken Alfredo pasta dish. The pasta is light and savory very flavorful with fresh crisp cooked broccoli and chicken breast that had a charbroiled kind of flavor and seasoned very well. It came with garlic bread that just help elevate the pasta dish. The price for the serving you receive is quite fair. I enjoyed my meal I thought it was better than fast food chain options for sure. I'm glad I was able to try their food it was well worth it.

I had the pork souvlaki dinner with the Greek tomato salad, and the egg lemon soup with a glass of Hatzimichalis white wine. Excellent. Great outdoor atmosphere with friendly service. It reminded me of Greece with the older men next to me discussing politics and the sound of the “koboloi” (worry beads). I felt like I was back on the islands!
I used to work down the street many years ago and this was one of my favorite places for lunch. So I finally got the chance to go to Xando to try their pork gyros this weekend. Ordered both the sandwich and the dinner as well as their pork souvlaki sandwich and dinner. Did takeout, and everyone in my family was raving about how good everything was. The pork was tender and not greasy, the tzatziki was good as well. The feta fries were gone in minutes. Definitely will have to make another trip to try some other yummy items on the menu.
I’ve been coming to Xando Café for 10 to 15 years and it is one of the few places that has stayed consistent in all the right ways. From the moment you walk in they treat you like family not just another customer. The food quality has always been high with no drop off over time and the portions are still generous which is rare to see today. Whether you’re going in to eat or just grab a coffee… it’s always a great experience. What really stands out is the culture. It reminds me of strong Greek family values where hospitality matters pride in the food matters and making sure everyone leaves full and taken care of matters. You can feel that every time you’re there and that is why they have stayed successful for so long. 5 stars every time.
Xando Café is one of those places that just pulls you back in every time. The atmosphere is cozy, warm, and welcoming. The food and drinks are amazing. I love coming back to that place.
My husband and I go here at least two times a week. The food is super fresh and delicious and we love our regular servers. The Greek salad is amazing and the chicken skewers. Also the price is really good for the quality of food
